Just bought my SIGGRAPH ticket. paid the extra $15 to have the tickets sent to my house so I don’t have to go to the registration table when we get there. I leave St Louis on the 3rd and am leaving on the 10th.
Joel, I am also going to the Sandbox exhibit (the video game thing.) Don’t remember if you said you were going to that or not. If not I will try to take good notes for you.
See guys at 6 tonight for the modelers meeting.

Please check out the contact page and double check that the information, specifically the email addresses, are correct. I try to email everyone when there is something important posted on the site and I am getting error messages on at least two addresses.
Chris Walker and Craig Straubing. If you guys could double check the contact page and make sure I spelled everything in your email correctly I would greatly appreciate it.

April 18 Minutes

ANIMATION INTM SHOWCASE
Please turn in anything you have to JenStolzer
Accepting anything from Animation and models to video and web design.
If you turn your projects in soon, your work may make it on THE WALL, which is our advertising space in the library.
Additionally, if anyone has any experience in large-scale composition and would like to help construct THE WALL please email Jen or post on the forum
We still need MODELERS to work on the New Facility project. It’s going to be a fun and useful project. Contact Carol or Jared if you’d like to be involved in production
SIGGRAPH CONFERENCE
Who all is actually going? It would be nice to book together, so those who are for sure attending this summer please raise your hands so we can get started and nab some cheaper lodging. Details about the conference can be found at the SIGGRAPH website.
NEXT MEETING: Sunday the 29th at Joel Johnson’s house.
Doors open at 3:00
Festivities (aka food) start at 5:00
Come and go as you please. Rain date is the following Sunday
Please bring something for the group to eat and post what you’re bringing on the forum so we don’t all bring the same thing.
Meetings will be every other week from now on. THERE IS NO MEETING THIS WEEK.
This weekend, there’s an Anime/Scifi Convention at St. Louis Marriott West. $40 for weekend passes. Several Webster SIGGRAPH members have booths there, and if you volunteer you can get in free. Talk to Jeremy for more volunteering information, he will refer you to the head honcho.

Discussion on membership fee discrepancy, dumping into either a fundraiser account, or into a separate group checking account.

Class evaluations are coming up. Write all your lab complaints (computer programs, hardware issues, etc) on your so your concerns go straight to the Dean.
Zach needs help for the video game tournament on Saturday, e-mail or call him if you can help set up or tear down.
Senior Overviews are the last Friday of classes. Come out and support the seniors.

If you are interested in modeling computers, furniture, ANYTHING contact an officer or post it on the forum. Too, compile your own wish list for what YOU would like to see in Sverdrup 2.0
Ideas for fundraising – For freelancing, the wage split we decided on was 60/40, 60 going to you and 40 going to the club.
- Who is willing to be a tutor? A teacher?
- Anyone willing to do web design for money?
We are looking into other non-profit work and networking with other groups.
